Webcast and Presentations from the Oticon Paediatric Symposium
At the NHS 2010 Conference, June 8-10, Oticon hosted a successful paediatric symposium on the following theme:
Integrated hearing care - strenghtening the paediatric process from screening and diagnosis to fitting and verification
The paediatric hearing aid fitting has become a more complicated process involving many different instruments and multiple measurements on which the fitting and validation is based. The Symposium takes a holistic approach from screening and diagnosis to fitting and verification within paediatrics. p>
Our symposium was held in co-operation with Interacoustics on Wednesday, June 9, and the following presenters gave inspiring talks:
André Marcoux, M.H.Sc., Ph.D., University of Ottawa, Canada
Susan Scollie, Ph.D., University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, Canada
Donald J. Schum, PhD, Vice President, Audiology & Professional Relations, Oticon, Inc., USA p>
