Changing Paediatric Default Settings
1. Age Brackets
- Three age brackets (0-3, 4-7 and 8-16) have been created. These can be altered using the +/– buttons.
2. Automatics
- Genie suggests settings for Directionality, Noise Management and My Voice (selected instruments only), depending on age.
- By default, automatic features are OFF for children between 0-3 years and ON for children older than 3 years.
- To change one or more settings, click the relevant drop-down list within each bracket and select the setting of your choice.
3. Buttons
- For all paediatric fittings, Genie suggests keeping the volume control OFF.
- To change this setting, click the drop-down list and select ON.
The above suggestions should be verified on an individual basis.
Note: The preferences set for each age group will be applied to all fittings and instruments within the given age group at the initial fitting
